As an artist, my work is grounded in my lifelong dedication to dance and movement. My background in technical photography informs my visual sensibility, while my Masters degree in Dance and Performance has allowed me to delve deeply into somatic and compositional practices.

Through my exploration, I have come to appreciate the importance of regulating the nervous system for overall health and well-being. My approach to movement emphasizes self-agency in the healing process, encouraging individuals to develop their own tools for regulation and embodiment practices. I believe that true self-care comes from understanding and embracing emotions, and I strive to create a space for individuals to explore tools to access and allow feelings, in the support of community or later, at home in private.

I believe that our vision plays a crucial role in how we move and perceive the world around us. Our senses, including touch and vision, connect us to the outside world and shape our understanding of ourselves and our place in it. My work explores the intersection of perception, being perceived and how it develops us into the people we are today. Through somatic practices, I aim to articulate and locate the physical, emotional and mental experiences inside of me, and support my system into a more integrated embodied experience. I believe that this process of self discovery and integration can support us in our relationships with our family, community, partner and self.

I see my artistic practice as a way to investigate the connection between the inner and outer world, and how movement, touch, vision and perception can shape our understanding of ourselves and our environment. I strive to create work that encourages individuals to explore their own perception, and to find new ways of moving and being in the world. In my work, I encourage embodiment and regulation of the nervous system as the key to develop a better understanding of oneself, and to move forward in life.

Ultimately, my work is about learning and unlearning, and encouraging others to do the same.
